Yaku smirked. At least he didn't have to worry about being accused of being clumsy. "If you want to congratulate a corpse your more drunk sober." That was a quiet cheesy line but it was the first thing that he thought of. What was he thinking. Of course Yaku was clumsy in the process of having fun he managed to get this lovely gash. "Yeah, that demon's dead. I made sure of that. I'm not a complete weakling." The act of being talked down upon was starting to bug him so he stood up... but it didn't help much. He was about two heads shorter than the monk. "You asked my name earlier... I believe the proper way is introducing yourself."

"A corpse? Well then, you may make a good enough companion. If only I could see you fight for myself..." His voice trailed off into his thoughts.Will Naraku take another one, He wondered.

His thoughts were disintegrated when Yaku spoke again. "Well, it may be the proper way," he admitted, "but I'm not a very proper person." He laughed, and stuck out his hand. "At any rate, I'll do it anyway. My name is Z'Rack Gwillan. I am a demon monk, working under Naraku. Now, your turn."

"Yaku. Just Yaku. Nothing else." Still a demon monk, he had never heard of such thing. But then he was young, so, not knowing things was quiet common. After a few moments of silence he asked the question that he had been wanting to know since the girl brought it up. "Who is this Naraku person you keep speaking of? I've heard rumor of him, but that is all," Yaku chuckled, "He doesn't seem very liked." One of his cat ears twisted. Is that one girl still here? She seemed very intent on keeping him safe before. But she probably knows her place now and wouldn't dare to stop him now.

"Well, Yaku, nice to meet you." He said slowly, again, sizing him up. Yaku didn't seem to be too strong, but anyone willing to serve Naraku will probably have a purpose somewhere. This, Z'Rack knew. In fact, he found use for a demon monk. Who else could've done that?

"Naraku. You do not know of him. Well then sit down, this is going to take a while." He waited for Yaku to sit down, or overall deny his demands. "Well, Naraku, simply put, is the lord. The lord of all evil. Most of the demons you fight probably work for Naraku, is a puppet, or incarnation of Naraku. However, there are the select few who oppose them. Those demons are then hunted and rightfully disposed of." He took a long pause, letting the cat demon drink this all in. "He is a master of most powers, and the conqueror of most of Japan. If it wasn't for the group led by that damned mutt, everything would be his. He himself is the reason terror fills the trails, and fear strikes the heart of mortals. Naraku is the most powerful demon, and he will win this war!" He stopped talking right then. No need to mention anything too important, just things he would figure out if he listened to gossip and rumors.

This Naraku character sounds interresting. If he played his cards right... he could probably become stronger. But in the process was he willing to be used? Not really. But he was going to be used without power... 'Naraku is the most powerful demon, and he will win this war!' "You're fine with being used for someone's conquest?" He turned away as if he would never do such thing. He knew his acting was quiet good... but would his actions from before ruin his act?

Gwillan raised his staff, and swung it at Yaku's legs. "How dare you accuse Naraku of such a thing! If I was being used, why would I be able to get drunk? To me, someone using another person would mean they want that said person in a good state! My master doesn't use me. I follow him out of my own will!" Even though it was an act, Z'Rack couldn't tell through his blind fury. He swung his staff again. "And how dare you even think of accusing me of being used. I am my own person, and damned proud of it!"

Before he knew what was going on he found himself in the process of falling to the ground. Ok, his tongue got himself in a sticky situation. He hoped he had been in worse. Z'rack did have a point, if he was being used usually the master wouldn't let him be drunk. But that didn't mean that Naraku would use a kid like himself. The monk would have to be somewhat formidable.
Yaku quickly rolled out of the way of the second attack and pushed himself to his feet in the same motion. He slid a few inches back as the motion he exerted canceled out with the ground. "How you acted it seemed that Naraku just uses demons for his conquest! I was wondering what made you so special!" Yaku had to be on his toes now. If he was going to anger the monk he had to make sure he dodged a good deal, if not all, of his next attacks.

"Are you that dense?" He spat angrily. "Of course he uses demons for his conquest, but he doesn't actually 'use' them. You see, we work for him, but he doesn't mislead us or put us in situations we don't want to be in. Like any king really." He said. The more he talked, the calmer he became, until he was finally so calm as to put down his staff. "Well, if that'd be all, I will take my leave of you."

Good... No more dodging. As Z'rack calmed down he made sure he loosened up a good deal but was ready to move and move quickly. 'So according to him... the demons he works with are his... 'loyal' subjects... "Fine then," Yaku said. "I might consider helping this Naraku person... Might."

He turned first to make his leave but kept an ear out for the demon monk now behind him and the girl that was once here... Now that he was going to be away from the demon that defeated her... he might have to deal with her now. "Don't forget my name... and I'll 'try' not to forget yours."

"Well, it'd be in your best interest to do so." Z'Rack replied smoothly to Yaku. "In fact, you would be dumb not too." He started walking off. "I won't forget Yaku, but remember, that means I hold you to your offer on Naraku. If you fail to do so, I'll just have to kill you."

That didn't go as well as he planned. Even saying might got him bound to this Naraku... and he hasn't even seen him in person. Well, that was something to worry about when the time comes. By then he should know more about what he had just signed his name to. Not saying anything more to Z'Rack, he left. As he walked he made sure that he altered his path from where the woman had escaped to.

Bound by his name... Yaku was set to either join Naraku or be killed by the demon monk Z'rack. How lovely... Yaku... his name meant his life...
